The Goji Powder Extract I stock has a Polysaccharide level of 40% which is very good so a little goes a long way!
Most of the Goji extract online that I have seen is just 10-20% Polysaccharides or no level is stated at all hmmm I wonder why?
Lycium barbarum polysaccharide (LBP) play multiple roles in pharmacological and health care functions. Four primary bioactive polysaccharides were discovered in Lycium barbarum. Appropriately, these polysaccharides were named LBP1, LBP2, LBP3 and LBP4.
These polysaccharides proved to be glycoconjugates, meaning that they are exceptional sources of the essential cell nutrients – rhamnose, xylose, glucose, mannose, arabinose and galactose – that are necessary for proper immune function and intercellular communication. In fact, goji may be the richest source of glyconutrients yet found!
Goji berries have been used for 6,000 years by herbalists in China, Tibet and India to:
-
protect the liver
-
help eyesight
-
improve sexual function and fertility
-
strengthen the legs
-
boost immune function
-
improve circulation
-
promote longevity
